Having 2 Brains is a No- Brainer !!
Wow, do we have 2 brains for our body and what does this have to do with our mouth?
I will in a minute explain this to you now that we have gotten your attention!!
Scientists now are saying that they are finding nerve cells in the lining of our “gut” or digestive tract.
These nerves communicate with our brain in our head, and thus, we can say that the nerves in our digestive tract are our second brain.
When we have the 2 brains communicating properly between themselves, our body in total will benefit from what will be the result.
This result is the proper metabolism or chemical reactions needed when we eat the foods that we need. The brain in the head will seek out the food and conduct the proper atmosphere to process a satisfaction result while this enhances the digestive brain to do its part in properly digesting the food.
A proper result will be the quality of hormones, and other chemicals needed to cause our body to function properly in our organs.
When we do not eat the proper foods, we run low in hormones for example and have to rely on hormone replacement.
Or, other factors may be an increase in getting fat, sluggish, low energy and other medical conditions such as
diabetes.
Its these chronic conditions that cause inflammation and getting older faster.
Where the mouth comes in is to chew and break down good quality natural foods to start the digestive process.
When the teeth are properly restored and function well, they cause the proper enzymes to break down the food.
I tried to simplify this process, but it does get complex and perhaps in other articles to come, we can explain them also in a simplified fashion.
One of the themes at our office is to help get you to have both your ” brains working together” so you can stay away from alot of medications and gracefully age.
And that is a “NO- BRAINER”.
Have nice day!
